Jesus answered, “The most important is, ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.
And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and
with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘You shall love your
neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”
Mark 12:29-31

THE FOUNDATION
The story of humanity begins with a glorious God creating the world gloriously beautiful. Of all that He created He made man the crown of His beautiful creation, gloriously setting His love on us. Our response…rejection followed by centuries of brokenness, division, corruption and destruction. God’s response…love and redemption at the high cost of His only Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. He loved us even further by giving us His Holy Spirit to abide with us until we fully and finally receive our inheritance in heaven. It is the love of God, in Christ, that informs everything we need to know about how we are to love people. It has been said that when we love God most, we will love others best. Parish Church is committed to knowing the God of the Bible who has loved us so well at the expense of His one and only Son. We believe this commitment will challenge and change every aspect of how we love and live with the people around us.
THE VISION
We seek to do this in the following 3 ways:
Gospel
The "Good News" of the Gospel of Jesus is a story of God’s perfect plan to redeem a wayward people. When man falls into sin in Genesis 3, God institutes His plan of redemption that culminates in the Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ, stepping out of heaven and taking on a human body. He lived the life we cannot, died the death we deserve, and was resurrected in order to secure both forgiveness and life for all those who place their faith in Him. At Parish Church the “Good News” of salvation through Jesus is what drives all that we are and all that we do.
Community
God is gathering people from every tribe, tongue and nation for the praise of His glorious grace in Christ Jesus (Revelation 5:9). He is creating a special people, (I Peter 2:9-10) through the ministry of His church, that serves as a light in a world filled with darkness. Parish church is a welcoming and loving community of different people, united in our common desire to know God and to make Him known.
Mission
Our chief goal this side of heaven is to know God, and from that relationship, make Him known. Following the example of our missionary God (Philippians 2:5-11), Parish Church believes that we must GO and make disciples. Because we enjoy the benefits of the Gospel and the rich community He has given us at Parish Church, we labor to show and share the love of Christ with all those who need the Gospel, that they too may worship with us both now and forevermore.
