And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food
with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people.
And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.
Acts 2:44-47

Teaching – Community is built around the Word of God. True relationship and community is centered on the Word of God by the Spirit of God. Parish Life Groups will devote themselves to the Word of God through interactive discussions facilitated by a group leader.
Fellowship – Genuine community must be shaped by the Gospel and centered on our common faith in Jesus Christ. Parish Life Groups will devote themselves to cultivating relationships within the Parish community through meaningful discussions around the Gospel’s work in their lives.
Breaking of Bread – It was common place in the early church for members to open their homes to one another; “having all things in common... together they would break bread in their homes” (Acts 2:44-46). Parish Life Groups will devote themselves to meeting together and enjoying food and fellowship in one another’s homes as we grow together as the family of God.
Prayer – We all need the assurance and help that comes through prayer. Prayer is the means God has given us to communicate our daily need of grace, our faith in a Savior capable of meeting that need, and our thanksgiving to a God who supplies that grace. Parish Life Groups will devote themselves to prayer look to the model Christ gave us in Matthew 6:9-13: prayers of praise and adoration, thanksgiving, confession, protection, provision and assurance.
