MESSAGE FROM THE PASTOR
Parish Church is a new church for the growing city of Lafayette. My wife, Emily, and I moved to Lafayette in June of 2015 for the purpose of starting a new church. It was our love for the South, the uniqueness of Cajun culture, and a love for the Lafayette trinity (food, family and festival), that drew us. Our love for this city has only grown since we arrived. After meeting with a small core group of families for a little more than a year, Parish Church opened its doors for its first public worship service on Sunday, August 3rd, 2016. We have been amazed to see how the Lord has worked in each step of the process of Parish’s growth as a church.

Having been a part of starting new churches for over 20 years, I am aware that there are often questions that will arise when someone visits Parish for the first time. If there are any questions concerning our vision, our mission and/or our core values that we can answer, please do not hesitate to ask. We are here to serve you in any way we can. Our desire is that your experience at Parish Church is a pleasant one. No matter your background, the circumstance or situation your are in or the questions you may have - you are our welcomed guest. No one at Parish has it all together. We believe that well known saying, “the church is a hospital for sinners, not a museum for saints”. We do, however, ask that you keep an open mind. Ask questions. Get to know the people around you and take part in what our community has to offer. You may find that many of your questions are not so different from ours. You may find a community worth investing in.
In Christ,
